It may sound crazy to interview a parrot, but I did just that. Here is my interview with Fawkes the Green Cheeked Conure.
TV Show Preferences
First, the questions were yes/no questions, but we talked about tv shows and one movie series that I have watched recently.
Of those shows, Fawkes liked all of them except for channels I watch on Youtube about fish. Sorry Bass Fishing Productions and Fish Guy Jack.
And, for each of these tv shows, I asked Fawkes to tell me which character is his favorite.
Once Upon a Time
I have been rewatching the Once Upon a Time series on Disney +. Although now that I am on season 7, I am wondering if I ever really watched the final season in its totality as I don’t remember much of it as compared to the rest of the series.
For this series, Fawkes prefers Regina/The Evil Queen.
Farscape
Another show I have been rewatching is a scifi show from the early 2000s. I’m just finishing up my rewatch of Season 1. For this series, Fawkes’ favorite character is Aeryn Sun. Farscape is available on Peacock.
Fuller House
I’ve watched Fuller House so many times that I think Fawkes has memorized the dialogue on it. He did, afterall, tell me he wanted to go to Japan when I asked him where he wanted to go on vacation after watching the episode where the characters traveled to Japan.
His favorite character from Fuller House is Stephanie.
Harry Potter
We didn’t talk about Harry Potter much, but I’ve watched so much Harry Potter that before I finished the interview, I thought to ask Fawkes if he liked the movies. He said he did. I asked him if Harry was his favorite character, and that was a no. Then I asked if Ron was his favorite, and that one was a yes. Not really what I would have expected. Now the question is was he thinking of the movies or the musicals on youtube when he answered me? Maybe I’ll have to ask him for the next interview.
Meidas Touch
Although Fawkes would not tell me which host he liked best on this youtube channel, he did tell me that he enjoyed it. He is apparently very liberal, and he does not like Donald Trump. That much I was able to confirm.
